What are your favorite experiences at 808?
Doing a pull up or more then. Making it though a super hard Sunday set. When I realised there is much worse things then 100 burpees and loved it!!!
What did you do before hand?
I’ve tried other boot camps and been to group sessions at the gym. I’ve also done a bit of running but 808 is addictive nothing I’ve done compares.
What makes 808 different from what you have done?
There’s so much variety to keep you on your toes. It’s a challenge for any level of fitness. You can work at your level but be pushed further than you ever thought possible in a fun family like environment. It’s never the same, a great mix of boot camp things e.g burpees/ tire flips but it also the variety with weights, boxing and exercise’s that really push you like ZUU and ANKORR
What would you say to someone who was looking at 808
Go for it you won’t never regret it. Be ready for a very rewarding challenge once you start you will be hooked.
Some achievements you have done as a result of 808, or goals you are looking at?
Over the last year my body shape has changed. I dropped 2 dress sizes and have muscles I never thought I would have, I also have so much more energy even though I go to 808 most mornings at 6am. I’ve achieved this by 45min of fun 3-5 times a week and not much more (and I have 2 small kids. So no excuses).
I have run 3 half marathons this year and done some 10-15k runs and an 13km Trail Run called the West Coaster and feel that 808 has kept me fit but also helped me prevent injury from a verity of different exercise’s.
