Eileen Brunton
What did you do before 808?
Tried a traditional gym many years ago, tried exercise equipment at home, tried going for long walks. Was much harder to keep the motivational level up and in the end I always got bored with whatever I was trying.
How do you find 808 sessions?
Crazy, fun, challenging and worth it every single time!
Is 808 for everyone?
Absolutely. Anyone will be made welcome and there’s a range of fitness levels and ages.
What are some goals you have achieved since training with us?
Completed first ever physical challenge (in my life) which was TU; can now actually run; have down-sized; increased muscle and strength; completed O’Rock, 6km Coastal Challenge run, Tough Mudder and Tough Guy/Tough Girl; did the Harbour Bridge climb; went on school camp and was able to run around and keep up with 11 and 12 year olds, which was a real buzz.
What would you say to anyone who wants to give it a go, but is a bit scared?
Of course you’re scared, but bring your fears in with you – that’s what I did. The hardest part will be walking through the door that very first time. Don’t overthink it – just make the call and be brave enough to come along. I can promise you will thank yourself down the track.
